Welcome to the ELLEvate blog! I'm on a mission to create a better world for the next generation of Black and Brown girls. I aim to contribute to the number of legacies that will enable LGBTQ+ folks to simply exist in a safer and more equitable world. My hope is that through interactions with me, organizational leaders will pause and consider accessibility and inclusion as a concrete, tangible, and fundamental part of their work culture.
You know - light work.

What to Expect
In my experience I have found that it is not unusual for some organizations to get in their own way of establishing cultures that truly enable all employees to thrive. For mission-driven organizations I would argue it’s even more important to ensure equitable and inclusive work cultures, because if folks with underrepresented identities do not feel a sense of belonging within the work environment, it shows up in our products, our policies, and our services. If we aim for our work to benefit marginalized communities - it’s imperative we first take a peek behind the curtain to see what work we need to do in-house. I’m passionate about process and performance improvement, particularly in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI); inclusive leadership; and the personal and professional growth for women+. I talk a lot about neurodiversity because I am neurodivergent. Feel free to journey with me on occasional tangents, exploring unrelated topics fueled by my ADHD and what's probably been one cup of coffee too many. Don’t worry; we’ll always find our way back.
ELLEvated Solutions for ELLEvated Growth.
My mission is vast, but my inner Virgo does not let me work toward unattainable or unrealistic goals. I believe a safer, more equitable and inclusive future is possible, and that the generations after us will wonder what took us so long.
Look around you, it's already happening.
I am so excited for the work to come.
